Julian is based in New Zealand. He has decades of experience as a teacher and geoscience communicator and has won awards for his work. In 2020 he founded ‘Out There Learning Ltd’, a company that provides education and geoscience communication services including school engagements, workshops, field trips, videography and teacher training.

    This is an on-demand course. You can take as much time as you like and dip in and out as and when you wish. You could complete the entire course in one day, including the activities given to you.

  • Is a certificate provided?

    Yes. Upon completion you can download a certificate, which is accredited by Geologize Ltd and the Geological Society of London.

  • Is this part of Geologize's flagship course, Practical Geocommunication?

    Not at this stage. This is a full, stand-alone course. However, both are available as a bundle. Search 'VIEW ALL COURSES' on the home page and search for 'Practical Geocomms + Schools'. The bundle price is less than buying the courses separately.
